Subway sign

I really like the subway sign that Pbarn has.  I have seen many people make there own.  I gave it a try and this is what I came up with.

I started with this piece of wood I got at salvation army. Spray painted the bottom white.

Used my handy dandy cricut (which you can get for a dime a dozen almost for the personal size on CL),

Picked out my words and transferred them on.

I then spray painted it black, let dry and did it about 4 times.  Removed my stickers I had transferred on and whoolahh!

Then I paid a little more attention and realized in authentic Jenne style, I spelled a word wrong.  Look a little closer and you will see it, if you haven't already.  Good grief.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming, "Wow, what a ride!" Author unknown

143,000,000 ORPHANS:

It is estimated that between 143,000,000 and 210,000,000 children are orphans. That’s at least 143 MILLION children in the world today. (Recent UNICEF report.)

To give you an idea of the enormity of this need, keep in mind that the approximate population of the US is 300,000,000; and the population of Russia is 141,800,000.)

There are more orphans in Sub-Sahara Africa than ALL of the children
in Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Canada, and Sweden – combined!
