Driving to the state capital

Well Ch*na has decided they want our dossier, 800a and the Dear CC*WA letter certified and authenticated. Again.  They already have these papers in C*ina right now.  They want them again because we are adopting two children.  So I will take a day off work, drive two hours one way, certify three papers.  Over night them to San Francisco to a courier.  Pay $90 to have them walked in and $45 for each document to have them expedited and done overnight, knowing that it is still taking 3-4 days to have them authenticated.  Then the courier will over night the papers to our agency and they will send them to Ch*na again, so they can have the same exact copies that they have right now.  Can you tell this doesn't make me very happy?  This is going to cost a lot of money and a day missed from work. Then they will start processing our LO* for Lottie.  Makes me sick all this time wasted and about $500 including my gas, while our children wait in the orphanage.  This was not a mistake on our part or the agency.  This is the CC*wa not being able to make their mind up and figure out how to fix their computers.  Frustrating.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming, "Wow, what a ride!" Author unknown

143,000,000 ORPHANS:

It is estimated that between 143,000,000 and 210,000,000 children are orphans. That’s at least 143 MILLION children in the world today. (Recent UNICEF report.)

To give you an idea of the enormity of this need, keep in mind that the approximate population of the US is 300,000,000; and the population of Russia is 141,800,000.)

There are more orphans in Sub-Sahara Africa than ALL of the children
in Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Canada, and Sweden – combined!
