Surgeries

I am so glad our surgeries are over.  Molly Mei has had 5 surgeries since coming home (not including the one in China).  She will have one more and then she will not need one for about 3 years.  Zeke has had 2 since coming home and he will not need anymore.  I am really happy to be done with these.  I really don't mind surgeries and they do not cause Torey and I any stress as we know the Lord is on control of the situation.  I just don't like the pain it causes my kiddos.  Molly Mei will be scoped next week and that will determine if she needs another one soon or not for a few years.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming, "Wow, what a ride!" Author unknown

143,000,000 ORPHANS:

It is estimated that between 143,000,000 and 210,000,000 children are orphans. That’s at least 143 MILLION children in the world today. (Recent UNICEF report.)

To give you an idea of the enormity of this need, keep in mind that the approximate population of the US is 300,000,000; and the population of Russia is 141,800,000.)

There are more orphans in Sub-Sahara Africa than ALL of the children
in Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Canada, and Sweden – combined!
