Torey got a Job

We are so grateful and glad that the wait is over. Sometimes it was hard (no paycheck), sometimes wonderful (having dh home all the time), sometimes stressful (looking for work & being told no), always faith building (trusting Christ that He knew always what was going on when we were confused).  I am happy for my hard working man to be doing something he likes.  I am surprised that though we prayed daily for a job (sometimes all day long),  I miss him home with us.  I love our family together when he was off.  I am taking the 2 girls out of school and homeschooling them with Molly Mei and Zeke.  I am super excited at this opportunity.  I will still work at the school, just not as much.   I am thankful in all circumstances, not just because dh has found a job, but even when he didnt I knew and will always know that our God is good.

Isaiah 40:31

31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like     eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming, "Wow, what a ride!" Author unknown

I believe in Christianity as I believe that the Sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.

143,000,000 ORPHANS:

It is estimated that between 143,000,000 and 210,000,000 children are orphans. That’s at least 143 MILLION children in the world today. (Recent UNICEF report.)

To give you an idea of the enormity of this need, keep in mind that the approximate population of the US is 300,000,000; and the population of Russia is 141,800,000.)

There are more orphans in Sub-Sahara Africa than ALL of the children
in Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Canada, and Sweden – combined!
