We went forward on faith knowing that Zeke was meant to be our son and feeling strongly that the Lord was one the one who had orchestrated for him to be in our family. Zeke has a few more needs than we initially knew about but we are so happy that this boy is our son.




“Adopting a child who was four years old was different than adopting a younger baby. It has thrilled our hearts to be able to see so many of Zeke’s “firsts.” His first bite of ice cream, his first snow, his first real kiss back – all of these are such special moments to our family. We realize that affections from Zeke don’t come as they might from a baby simply repeating them back, but from him feeling trust and love enough to know it’s okay to give a kiss. He has made our lives better and we are thankful for the opportunity to teach him about our Lord who loves us even when times are tough.
